Citing a December 2015 court verdict declaring the 23 billion baht ($654 million) contract void due to corruption, the Anti-Money Laundering Organization suspended the second and third installments of NVPSKG’s 4.7 billion baht compensation. But the consortium argued there was no reason to suspend payments as NVPSKG had not been found guilty of involvement in corruption. Deputy Premier Wissanu Krea-ngam said a court would have the final say on the matter.  ...
