Netett wins Swedish 450MHz mobile-broadband license

( February 6, 2018, 09:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Swedish wireless operator Netett Sverige has won a license to operate a mobile broadband network in the 450 megahertz frequency band. The operator will have to cover at least 80 percent of the territory in each county with a service capable of at least 5 megabits per second downlink and 128 kilobits per second uplink. Telia Sverige also bid for the license, but Netett placed a higher bid, and under the terms of the auction, Netett will have to pay the amount bid by Telia, of 40.2 million kronor ($5.05 million).The full statement (in Swedish):...
