UK's CMA seeks to appeal CAT ruling on JD Sports-Footasylum merger

Previously, the CMA said it was disappointed by the CAT's ruling, which focused on the regulator's approach to gathering information about the specific impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the sector. "It is the CMA’s belief that the CAT misapplied the law in reaching this decision," the regulator said in a statement today.Statement follows....
