Telenor, TeliaSonera confirm EU objections to Danish JV plan

( June 23, 2015, 15:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission has issued wireless operators TeliaSonera and Telenor with official objections to the companies’ plan to form a joint venture in Denmark. The parties confirmed the EU watchdog had sent them a Statement of Objections today, and said that they believe the joint venture will benefit competition and consumers in Denmark. TeliaSonera and Telenor said they will continue discussions with the commission, to ensure all of the regulator's concerns are addressed.The full statement follows....
