Mississippi federal court refuses to expedite Tronox suit against FTC

( January 25, 2018, 23:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Magistrate Judge Roy Percy declined to set an expedited schedule in Tronox's lawsuit against the Federal Trade Commission over the agency's attempt to block Tronox's deal with Cristal in administrative court. Tronox "has not docketed any proof of service of the complaint on the FTC and there has been no entry of appearance by counsel on behalf of the FTC," Percy wrote. "Without evidence that the FTC has been properly served and has had time to respond to the Complaint, the court will not set deadlines for briefing or hearings," he wrote.See document attached....
