Telecom operators should disclose more information on broadband speeds, Finnish watchdog says

( September 20, 2016, 10:10 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Telecom operators in Finland must inform users of minimum, normally available and maximum speeds for fixed broadband, the national telecom regulator has said. Users must be able to achieve the specified maximum speed at least on some occasions, the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority, or Ficora, said in an opinion. The opinion is part of the implemention of new EU rules on “net neutrality,” the principle of treating all web traffic equally.
