US solar panel manufacturer, importer seeks tariff refunds following trade court's solar panel tariff decision

( August 17, 2022, 20:50 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US solar panel manufacturer Jingko Solar Industries and its affiliate JingkoSolar have filed a complaint with the US Court of International Trade seeking refunds from US Customs and Border Protection for tariffs paid for bifacial solar panel imports. Jingko paid these tariffs due to a Trump-era presidential proclamation revoking bifacial solar panels' exclusion from Section 201 tariffs on imported solar products. The proclamation was ruled unlawful by the trade court in November 2021, and the trade court decision is currently under appeal at the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.See document below....
