Odebrecht, Andrade Gutierrez raids target corruption in deals with Petrobras, others

( June 19, 2015, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Prosecutors said  Brazilian authorities who raided the premises of construction companies Odebrecht and Andrade Gutierrez on Friday are investigating allegations of bid-rigging involving contracts with Petróleo Brasileiro, or Petrobras, and contracts with other public entities. Brazilian police arrested the companies' chief executives, Otávio Marques de Azevedo of  Andrade Gutierrez and Odebrecht's Marcelo Odebrecht. The dawn raids also targeted shell companies that helped to disguise bribes paid by construction companies to Petrobras executives.Statement follows in full....
