Suzuki Motor files report to transport ministry on steps to boost internal oversight

( June 8, 2016, 09:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- Suzuki Motor says it has submitted a report to Japan’s transport ministry explaining its measures to strengthen its internal oversight following a scandal involving fuel efficiency data on its vehicles. The company will, for instance, promote the use of its internal whistleblower system and provide compliance training to its workers, it said in a statement today.
