For the current year, the government plans to cut the KPPU's budget allocation by up to 27 billion rupiah ($2 million) from a proposed budget of 116 billion rupiah. KPPU Chairman Syarkawi Rauf said the biggest cut would likely impact funding for studying cases and case handling.
