Coca-Cola and bottlers see EU antitrust probe closed

( February 28, 2023, 11:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A preliminary probe into Coca-Cola and its bottlers has been closed, the European Commission has said. The commission was concerned that the companies could have abused their market dominance and granted conditional rebates to retailers in some EU member states, to foreclose the market entry of new drinks or hinder their expansion. There are insufficient grounds to further pursue the investigation, the commission said.Press release follows....
