Google says Pichai, Brin should avoid depositions in Texas ad-tech litigation as case hits milestone

Three-and-a-half years after the suit was filed, it has reached a milestone with the close of fact discovery — apart from the depositions by the senior executives.Google is trying to prevent CEO Sundar Pichai and co-founder Sergey Brin from having to testify in a suit filed by Texas and other states alleging antitrust and privacy violations by the company’s ad-tech business, saying that Pichai and Brin lack any unique knowledge relevant to the case....
