By Mike Swift ( August 10, 2022, 21:27 GMT | Insight) -- A group of retailers including AT&T, Walmart, The Home Depot and Kohl’s that allegedly used Clearview AI services in their Illinois stores won’t be defendants in privacy litigation against the facial recognition company, with a Chicago federal judge ruling the plaintiffs waited too long to add new defendants. The judge also said Albertsons Companies and Best Buy stores couldn't be added as defendants for the same reason.
