E-commerce platform Lazada under antitrust investigation in Indonesia

( May 27, 2024, 06:43 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Lazada Indonesia is formally being investigated by Indonesia's antitrust regulator for alleged anticompetitive behavior. The Indonesian Competition Commission, or KPPU, said in an announcement today that it has been probing Lazada since 2021 and has now elevated the case to the investigation stage, where further evidence will be gathered to determine if the case will proceed to trial. The statement did not detail the allegations.
