Google's third-party payment rollout in India comes at a steep price, developers say (update*)

The move comes a month after the global tech giant announced policy changes in response to the directives issued by India's antitrust watchdog. The alternative payment option isn't free and Google also levies a service-fee charge 4 percent lower than if the payment was through Google.
