Air France's Paris-Amsterdam conditions from its KLM merger lifted, EU watchdog says

In 2004, the competition authority approved the deal under several conditions with no time limit. The package required Air France to transfer time slots to open up to six frequencies per day at the Paris and Amsterdam airports to competitors, next to other concessions. However, after finding that the antitrust concerns on that route had stopped due to competitive pressure from Thalys, the office decided to remove the concessions.Statement follows (in French). ...
