National Collegiate Athletic Association settles class action with student-athletes over use of names, images, likenesses

According to a joint statement from NCAA President Charlie Baker, Atlantic Coast Conference Commissioner Jim Phillips, Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti, Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark, Pac-12 Commissioner Teresa Gould, and Southeastern Conference Commissioner Greg Sankey, the settlement is an important step in the continuing reform of college sports and will provide clarity in college athletics across all divisions for years to come.
