Vitamin C plaintiffs ask for contempt finding, saying Chinese pharma company refuses to pay up

( March 20, 2015, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Hebei Welcome Pharmaceutical should be held in contempt and its assets placed into a receivership for failing to honor a judgment after a trial court found that it fixed prices on vitamin C, plaintiffs said in a motion. The company has defied a court order requiring it to turn over records on its assets, effectively stopping plaintiffs from collecting money owed in connection with a $148 million judgment, they said. Hebei has argued that turning over the records violates US law and asked collection to be put on hold pending the outcome of its appeal in the case.See document below....
