EU publishes report on latest trade-negotiation round with Mexico

( October 16, 2017, 11:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission has published a report on the EU's latest round of trade negotiations with Mexico. The document says that during talks held in Brussels in the last two weeks of September, progress was achieved on rules of origin, sustainable development and market access in services and investment. But the negotiators failed to advance on investment protection and market access in government procurement. The next round of talks will take place in Mexico City between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1. The commission also published draft proposals on trade in wine and spirits, motor vehicles, as well as the usual exceptions that can be invoked to restrict trade on security or health grounds.Documents attached below:  ...
