Crown's Sydney casino opening to be delayed until after Australian money-laundering inquiry

( November 18, 2020, 07:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: An Australian state regulator has ordered casino-operator Crown Resorts to delay the opening of a new casino in Sydney "in light of ongoing concerns over the company’s suitability to run the casino." The New South Wales Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority said in a statement today that it was unable to consider a number of regulatory applications linked to the new Barangaroo casino until it has completed its investigation into allegations of money laundering.
