Proposed merger between Bouygues Telecom and SFR

( March 20, 2014, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Bouygues announced that it has improved its takeover offer to Vivendi and increases the cash part to 13.15 billion euros, in addition to 21.5 percent of the new entity. The cash part of this offer for SFR is 1.4 billion euros higher than the rival offer from Altice, which is currently being negotiated with Vivendi. Bouygues added that it is also bringing a number of long-term financial and industrial shareholders to the project, such as the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, the Pinault family and JCDecaux Holding.The full statement follows:...
