Oracle reaches $58 million settlement with Terix on copyright and antitrust dispute

( June 11, 2015, 01:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US Magistrate Judge Paul Grewal has approved a stipulated judgment between Oracle and Terix Computer and two related companies that settles Oracle's copyright allegations against Terix and the related companies, as well as antitrust counterclaims brought by the Terix companies. Under the settlement, Oracle will recover $57.723 million from Terix, Sevanna Financial and West Coast Computer Exchange, and the companies are permanently blocked from claiming they can provide software support services for companies that use Oracle's Solaris operating system.Please see attached settlement document...
