Spanish Energy Regulator approves reports on energy capacity auction

( August 26, 2011, 15:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Spain's energy regulator (Comisson Nacional de Energia) has approved two reports in relation to 16th energy capacity auction . One concerns the maximum volume that energy providers are allowed to buy, the other deals with potential compensation for providers after a  tariff was introduced  in March. The authority has also issued a resolution on which solar power plants qualify for an extension of subsidies, and another on the information request and payment of subsidies, incentives and grants for energy production under the 'special regime'.The full statement follows (in Spanish):...
