Repsol antitrust fine upheld by Spanish Supreme Court

( June 5, 2019, 21:55 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Spain's highest court has confirmed a fine of 22.5 million euros imposed on Repsol in 2016 by the national competition watchdog, after its subsidiary Repsol Comercial de Productos Petrolíferos exchanged strategic data on fuel prices in the country. The ruling overturns an earlier judgment made by the high court, the Audiencia Nacional, which scrapped the fine, saying that Repsol couldn't be considered as the perpetrator of the law breach when the infringement was materially committed by its subsidiary.Statement follows in Spanish. ...
