Otonomo says US suit over tracking data seeks to improperly expand California law

"There is no case law supporting Plaintiff’s claim against Otonomo here," the company told US District Judge Jon Tigar in a court filing. "This Court should not accept Plaintiff’s invitation to expand the law to create liability where the legislature has not done so, particularly not on a complaint as thin and conclusory as this one."
