BetterHelp moves to dismiss privacy allegations in US litigation

( March 11, 2024, 19:57 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: BetterHelp asked a federal judge in San Francisco to dismiss allegations that the online counseling platform breached its contract with users by sharing their personal data with advertisers and social media platforms. "BetterHelp’s use of these technologies to collect a limited amount of anonymized data from its users was disclosed in BetterHelp’s privacy policy and was in no way unlawful or harmful," the company said.
