EU Parliament will lobby for extra funds to enforce ban on forced labor, Lange says

Bernd Lange said that if elected, he would push to allocate more money to the European Commission and the customs authorities to ensure the proper implementation of the law.The new EU law that bans imports of products made with forced labor will need a boost of financing in the next EU budget to be properly enforced by the European Commission and national customs authorities, a key EU lawmaker told MLex in an interview....
