( February 10, 2023, 17:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A former Sweett Group associate director pleaded guilty to two counts of bribery in proceedings brought by the UK Serious Fraud Office, the agency said in an online update to its case file for its investigation into suspected bribes paid by former executives at Bluu Solutions, a commercial property fit-out business. In May 2022, Roger Dewhirst pleaded guilty to two counts of accepting or agreeing to receive bribes totaling more than 290,000 pounds ($355,000), the SFO said. In January, three alleged accomplices who faced a total of eight counts of bribery were all acquitted by Southwark Crown Court.
