UPS’s damages action for blocked TNT Express acquisition: EU’s top court publishes summary

( July 25, 2022, 15:12 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: United Parcel Service is taking action at the EU Court of Justice to seek 1.7 billion euros in damages for the European Commission's block of its acquisition of TNT Express. In February, the General Court ruled out UPS's action. In its follow-up appeal, UPS says the lower court made six errors, and that judges were wrong to conclude that irregularities in relation to the econometric model used by the commission didn't establish liability and to endorse the commission's efficiency assessment.
