US Senate Appropriations Committee recommends no changes for FTC spending

( November 10, 2020, 16:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Senate Appropriations Committee is proposing a budget of $331 million for the US Federal Trade Commission during the federal fiscal year that began Oct. 1. The federal government is currently operating under a temporary spending measure valid through Dec. 11. The Senate committee proposal is the same as the FTC's current year budget and also approximately what the agency proposed in its budget submission earlier this year. The House of Representatives has proposed the FTC spend $341 million in the current federal fiscal year. See documents below....
