AT&T completes acquisition of Leap Wireless

( March 14, 2014, 13:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: AT&T has completed its $1.2 billion acquisition of Leap Wireless, Leap said in a statement on Friday. Each share of Leap common stock was canceled and converted automatically into the right to receive $15.00 in cash, without interest, and one non-transferrable contingent value right, the company said. The deal, announced last August, was subject to review by the US Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission, which approved the deal Thursday under the condition AT&T sell off radio waves and expand LTE wireless service, particularly in South Texas.Read the full statement below....
