Hospitals allowed to participate in Brazilian review of Rede D'Or-Sulamerica deal

( July 22, 2022, 18:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Several hospitals including Hospital Sírio-Libanês, Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz and Hospital Albert Einstein will be allowed to participate in the Brazilian review of hospital chain Rede D’Or São Luiz's planned purchase of insurer Sul América. As an interested third party, the companies can assist the Administrative Council for Economic Defense in its analysis and can appeal an eventual approval of the deal to the agency's Tribunal.
