Broadcom-Brocade re-file Cfius paperwork a second time; new deadline November 17

( October 3, 2017, 13:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Broadcom and Brocade said they withdrew and re-filed their paperwork with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (Cfius) a second time to give the government more time to conduct its national security review of the merger. Cfius has agreed to proceed to a 45-day investigation period, which will conclude no later than Nov. 17 according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Tuesday.  Item 8.01.
