Mexican live-events company CIE confirms antitrust visit

( May 17, 2016, 02:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Mexican entertainment group Corporación Interamericana de Entretenimiento, or CIE, has issued a statement to the Mexican stock market saying that its offices were visited by the antitrust regulator “in respect” of an antitrust investigation targeting the country’s live-entertainment business, and that CIE provided the information requested. On May 13 the Federal Economic Competition Commission, or Cofece, announced the start of a probe into “relative monopolistic practices” in the country’s live promotion, venue and ticketing businesses.CIE statement follows in Spanish....
