Sidley Austin allowed to stay on tuna antitrust case

( March 9, 2015, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Sidley Austin will not be disqualified from representing defendants in a lawsuit alleging an illegal bid to drive up tuna prices, US District Judge Colleen McMahon has said. Fish farming operations Maricultura del Norte and Servax Bleu argued that New York-based lawyers for Sidley should not be allowed to represent defendants because a Houston-based lawyer from the firm represented the plaintiffs before. McMahon said that though the lawyer, Steven Selsberg, did represent the defendants, his work was far enough removed from the rest of Sidley's work that the whole firm does not need to be taken off the case.See document below....
