Hungarian agreements with oil company MOL don’t constitute state aid, EU court says

( June 4, 2015, 08:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission has failed to overturn a ruling by the General Court that annulled its order for Hungary to recover benefits granted to energy company MOL. The regulator had ordered the recovery of around 112 million euros in 2010. Today, the EU’s Court of Justice confirmed that the agreements between the Hungarian state and MOL in relation to the exploitation of hydrocarbon fields didn’t constitute state aid.Full statement follows.
