​Appeals court halts antitrust review of PLDT, Globe deal

The appellate court said the decision had been made so as not to impair the rights of the three companies as it hears the telco giants’ consolidated petition questioning the commission’s decision to investigate the deal. PLDT was also ordered to post a 1 million peso ($21,500) bond for potential damages to the commission in case the court later rules against the company....
