Dawn Meats, Dunbia joint venture gets UK antitrust clearance

( September 29, 2017, 10:20 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Irish meat producer Dawn Meats' planned joint venture with Northern Ireland-based rival Dunbia has been approved by the UK's Competition and Markets Authority. The deal will see both companies merge their UK operations. The watchdog said today that it cooperated closely with the European Commission and Irish competition authorities when assessing the deal.
