​Dominant digital companies, predatory pricing will be a focus of Brazil competition regulator, report says

The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, also said it will continue to use traditional methods to investigate cases involving the digital economy, and doesn't plan to make immediate changes to its merger threshold to cover more transactions.Single players that dominate digital markets and incumbent companies that charge predatory prices are on the radar of the Brazilian competition authority and should be investigated with the same tools used in more traditional cases, the agency said in a recent report about digital markets....
