Zech can acquire Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau, German watchdog says

( July 18, 2022, 10:03 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Construction company Zech has received merger approval for its acquisition of Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau, the German competition authority has said. The target is active in tunneling and foundation engineering where Zech is not represented. After the merger, sufficient alternatives would remain, the authority said. Wayss & Freytag's customers were mainly public authorities engaging its services via public auction which would create a competitive situation with every single tender. Therefore the deal didn't raise competition concerns and could be cleared.Press release follows in German....
