NAB adds more staff to fight money laundering, develops constructive relationship with Austrac

McEwan added that the bank has also developed a constructive relationship with the country’s anti-money laundering regulator, Austrac, and is very open with them about what is going on at the bank. National Australia Bank now has around 1,200 staff working to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, Ross McEwan, the bank’s CEO, told lawmakers in the Australian Parliament today....
