European Commission to brief EU lawmakers on AI Act’s implementation progress

The agenda includes the progress made on the code of practice for general-purpose AI model providers, the upcoming guidelines on the bans for unacceptable use cases, and the voluntary initiative for early compliance.The European Commission will provide the first formal update to members of the European Parliament at the inaugural meeting of the working group on the implementation and enforcement of the AI Act on Oct. 24....
