Martin-Prat appointed EU Commission’s deputy director-general for trade

An official with more than 20 years of experience at the commission, Martin-Prat is currently director for trade responsible for relations with a number of Asian countries, including China, as well as for the policy areas such as services and digital trade, investment and intellectual property. The date that Martin-Prat’s appointment becomes effective will be determined later, the commission said.Statement follows....
