Morele.net fined by Polish regulator for inadequate data controls

( September 19, 2019, 10:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Morele.net has been fined 2.8 million złoty ($700,000) by Poland’s Office for Personal Data Protection for violating data-protection rules. The consumer-electronics retailer’s measures to protect personal data were inadequate and failed to stop information on about 2.2 million people falling into the wrong hands, the regulator said.
