Swedish Telecoms Regulator: Tele2 must lower its mobile termination rates

( August 19, 2009, 10:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Swedish telecoms regulator, PTS, has issued a decision requiring mobile operator Tele2 to lower the mobile termination rates it charges other operators for incoming calls to its network. The operator will have to reduce the termination rates to 0.32 kronor (3.12 euro cents) per minute by 24 August 2009, after which the operator will be fined 4 million kronor per four-week period it fails to comply with the decision.The full statement follows (in Swedish):...
