​India Competition Commission approves Rohit Ferro Tech, Balasore Alloys deal

( May 27, 2015, 04:30 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Competition Commission of India approved the proposed acquisition of the ferrochrome producing facility in Jajpur of Rohit Ferro Tech by Balasore Alloys. Both Rohit Ferro and Balasore are engaged in the manufacture of ferrochrome while Rohit Ferro also makes other varieties of ferro alloys. The CCI said the transaction won’t raise any competition concerns due to the existence of other competitors.The full statement is attached....
