Dominion Energy, SCANA agree to merge

( January 3, 2018, 23:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Dominion Energy and SCANA said they will combine in a transaction valued at $14.6 billion, including the assumption of debt. The merger requires clearance from US antitrust authorities as well as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the public service commissions of South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia, Dominion said.
