Proposed UK online safety changes could catch small but high-risk services

Nadine Dorries, the head of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, said in a written statement to parliament that the government has proposed changes to journalism rules, safety duties and communications offenses within the Online Safety Bill, as well as a reform that would place tougher obligations on small but high-risk online services.
