LloydsPharmacy-McCabes deal wins conditional Irish approval

( April 26, 2024, 13:58 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Pharmacy operator LloydsPharmacy has obtained conditional green light to buy rival McCabes Pharmacy, the Irish competition authority said today. LloydsPharmacy agreed to sell two pharmacies in Lucan, Dublin, to a buyer to be approved by the authority. It also obliged to not to anything that could negatively affect the pharmacies before their sale and not to buy them back for a period of at least ten years, the authority said.
