Wizz Air faces data-protection complaint for failing to allow free data changes, NOYB says

( October 21, 2020, 10:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: NOYB, a privacy advocacy group, has filed a complaint in Austria against Wizz Air, claiming that the low-cost airline has violated the EU's data-protection rules by failing to give customers the ability to correct their information free of charge. The complaint states that customers are obliged to call the airline's "expensive" hotlines for changes, which is a violation of the bloc's General Data Protection Regulation rules that give people the “right to rectification” free of charge, NOYB says.Statement follows....
